FWSA Meeting
The next Federal Way Soccer Association's monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 7:00pm in the lounge of the Secoma Lanes Restaurant & Lounge @ 34500 Pacific Hwy S. in Federal Way. All coaches and parents are encouraged to attend.

FWSA AGM
The Federal Way Soccer Association's Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 19th. At this meeting by-laws and officers were voted on. Below are the results of the meeting. There will be no regularly scheduled monthly meeting in April.

2007 FWSA "Of the Year" Winners
The FWSA voted for the Boy's Coach, Girl's Coach, Volunteer, and Administrator "Of the Year" awards at their December meeting. Congratulations to the below winners.

Boy's Recreational Coach: Ryan Tolmich
Girl's Non-Competitive Coach: Cindy Flanagan

The FWSA winners went on to compete at District 3 where George Pfeiffer, Scott Nelson, and Sharon Woodford won. Now they will represent District 3 and FWSA at the WSYSA level.

GU16 - GU18 Reign Tryouts
The FWU GU16-GU18 Reign Tryouts will be held on May 9th and 10th. Please click on the below link for the schedule and location. To save time at tryouts, please bring a completed tryout registration form found below. A fee of $10 is charged to participate in the tryouts. This money will go toward the tryout expenses and the Reign scholarship fund.

Fall registration for all Staff and players is now open on the Sign Up Page. All player registration will be closed on June 13th.

The coming season will begin to mark some changes and modifications in the Federal Way United Soccer (FWU) Club in both the select and non-select programs. Under the direction of Rob Walker as our first Director of Coaching, FWU will begin to pen a new chapter in club history.

FWMSC Coaches Meeing
A mandatory Coaches meeting will be held on Monday, May 12th at 7:00pm in the Federal Way High School Cafeteria . All coaches are required to attend or send a representative.

Registration Fees
* Every player (including coach/multiple child) is required to participate in the Federal Way Mod Soccer Club Fundraiser. This consists of selling a minimum of TBA. In lieu of the fundraiser, you may choose to donate $30.00. The registration fee is given to your team, who will turn it into the Club.

Spring Season - Registration Is Now Closed
The Mod Club is pleased to announce a new format for the spring soccer session to replace the spring league. This 8 week session will be player focused, rather than team based and will focus on the development of all players and improving their individual skills rather than a formal league. Players will get many touches on the ball as they work on skill sets and apply those skill sets in round-robin games each week.
There will be no practices. All activities will be held on Sunday. The schedule for the first 5 weeks, April 6, 13, 20, 27, and May 4 is:

After May 4th the players will be divided into equally skilled level teams for competitive games. Those teams and game schedules will be announced the week of May 6th for games on May 18, June 1, and June 8.
- Every player needs to bring his/her own soccer ball with their name clearly marked on it!
- No food or sports drinks are allowed on the turf field. Players are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
- Players must wear soccer cleats, shin guards, and soccer socks over their shin guards. Players will be given a t-shirt on their first day and are encouraged to wear shorts however if it is cold they may wear sweat pants over their shorts and a long sleeve shirt under their t-shirt.
- Families should arrive at least ½ hour early on the first day to sign-in and receive the player’s t-shirt
- No need to sign-in on subsequent weeks
