BOARD MEETING MINUTES

May 12, 2008

The meeting of the Federal Way Modified Soccer Club was called to order by President Heather Hamashima at 6:30pm on Monday, May 12th at the Federal Way High School Cafeteria.

NEW BUSINESS:

-Fall registration

• Fall registration is open now until June 13^th.
• Tonight we are giving coaches
• Registration packets
• Roster sheet
• Notebook with dates and age group idea packets

• We are not going to fill team rosters. We want to keep one spot open to possibly for another team with the extra players.
• The coaches packets are due to the coordinators at the June 9^th meeting.
• Kids who are playing up need to be marked on the roster sheet.

-Fall Fund Raiser options

• We looked at and discussed several different fundraiser options.
• We decided on selling candy bars for the fundraiser, or families have the option buy out for $30.

-Positions-

• Bob has resigned as equipment coordinator. Tracy will resume as coordinator but would like us to find her a replacement as well.
• Michelle Hayes resigned as treasurer. Sandy was appointed and approved as the new treasurer.

Mod meeting was adjoined. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 9^th, 2008. All meetings will be scheduled the 2^nd Monday of each month at 7:00pm.
