OLD
BUSINESS –
Discussion of Policy Revisions
U6-U8: Talked about strong vs. weak teams in the age categories – how can we best deal with them? Maybe on their registration forms, there could be some sort of wording such as: “For scheduling purposes, how would you rate your team?”
We need a note in the coaches’ books
with comments about running up the score – some options, including the
possibility of practicing other skills.

Spring League - Schedule/Will we be
playing on Mother’s Day? Dates will be
April 23 – Jun. Note to Sharon – Please
put in red, on website – “IT is optional to play on Mother’s or Father’s Day –
what’s your team’s choice?”
Deadline for coaches’ packets is
March 1st to the Coordinators.
Fees: Last year it was $45 for U7 & U8, $50 for U9 & U10. The Refs are adding $2 per game, plus United is hiring a coaching director; there is a potential for MOD to be paying a portion of that salary. Should we raise fees by $5 per player? We cannot vote on that, as we do not have a quorum. The recommendation is for $50 - U7 & U8, $55 for U9 & U10. Heather will send out an email for vote via email.
Remember that if you practice on a
field with no permission, you are not covered by our insurance, and the coach
can be personally sued.
Please remember to vote tomorrow for
the school levy.
