Fields George
Pfeiffer:
- King County
will close all four South
King County
parks effective December 1, 2009. Lake Geneva
will be used through November 14th and then closed. Broached
sub-leasing Lake Geneva for next year and King County
is interested in this option. Maintenance is the key issue. Currently pay
$9,780 per year for Lake Geneva. George
Pfeiffer has someone who will mow, thatch, etc. for $12,000 per year.
However, it if goes to seed, it will take two years to grow back.
- Where
will U10s play? Have 3 fields at Lakota. Two are for Mod U10s and one is
for FWU teams. One set of goals need to be moved from Celebration to
Lakota.
- TJ new
turf field Use agreement not signed yet. Letter for use for now includes
12 Saturdays and all day Sunday. Proposal is for $4,000 and working on getting it to
$3,000. TJ is coming in about $80 per day. $18,000 already paid on fields
