Meeting Minutes

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.  

The minutes for December will be approved in February. 

 

PRESIDENT’S REPORT- Perry reported on the PDL.  They are pushing for 3 changes:  to add U14 to the league, move the girls so they don’t conflict with High School, and changes in travel papers and what is needed.

Talked about some proposed by-law changes for Mod, United and Association. 

 

VICE-PRESIDENT’S of Admin REPORT- No Report.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT- Not present.

 

SECRETARY’S REPORT- No Report.

 

REGISTAR’S REPORT- Will get mod spring set up to start in February.  All paperwork done for challenge and commissioner’s cup – almost done with championship cup.

 

RISK MANAGEMENT- No Report.

 

2nd VP of Development – Not Present.

 

FIELD’S REPORT – No Report. 

 

FW MOD- Spring Registration will start February 15th. 

 

FW UNITED-  Looking at some proposed by-law changes.  Starting to get ready for coaches selection and tryouts.

 

DISTRICT 3 REPORT – AGM is in March.  Open board positions need to be filled.  PDL League – lots of talk about how things went and what to look at in the future.  Talking about whether to add U14.  Talked about a new schedule for GU15 and above to avoid playing during High School.  Lots of talk still to do on this concerning fields – time of year etc.

 

WEBMASTER-  Select coaching application is posted on the United forms webpage.  The form is in a PDF fill in form. 

 

2nd VP of Administration – No Report.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS –  All dates for all 3 State Cups are posted on the WSYSA website.  Games start this weekend for the Challenge and Commissioner’s Cup.  All teams have been emailed giving instructions on reporting their scores to Sharon on the date of their game. 

 

Referee Report – No Report.

 

OLD  BUSINESS- None.

 

NEW BUSINESS – None.

 

GOOD OF THE GAME-  Perry and Sharon will be attending the National Convention.
